Developing A Skating Curriculum

If you are an individual instructor, looking to a start a skate school or a long time skate school owner looking for fresh ideas, this session is for you! Using a model skate school curriculum we will look at additional ways to build a well-rounded approach to teaching skating that includes a variety skating disciplines that will keep students engaged in lessons and coming back again and again!

Developing a Skating Curriculum Workshop

The ICP Level 1 & Level 2 Certification Programs lay the foundation for instructing the basic skills of inline skating. However, to build these foundational skills into a full curriculum that can introduce skaters of all ages to multiple disciplines will take some experience, effort and sport-specific expertise. 

Join ICP instructors, examiners, skate school owners and various skating experts as we use some of the Skater's Quest Skate School lesson curriculum as a model and leaping off point of how to begin to develop your very own skating curriculum.
